摘要澳大利亚作家亚历克西斯·赖特的《卡彭塔尼亚湾》是一部关于土著和土地的壮烈史诗。它描写了原住民与现代工业文明之间的斗争和融合,表达了原住民们对家园的执着守望以及对自然神性的捍卫和尊崇。小说以虚实相间、混杂多样的后现代手法,融合了本土口述传统如传说、神话、图腾等元素,多层面、多维度地再现了土著传统和民族的集体记忆。通过这种混杂的表述结构和叙事方式,赖特意在复原历史本真,抵制并颠覆白人的强权政治和殖民意识,创建土著人自己的话语体系。
