Professional English courses are set up for undergraduates and specialty of welding in most universities in the country, this paper analyzes the role of English in the application of welding talents cultivation, and explores the general problems of welding professional English in traditional teaching.The authors develop a diversified teaching method, teaching content and teaching method so that students can not only increase interest in learning through professional English learning, but also lay a foundation as senior engineering and technical personnel in future.
