Zhaxidajie means ' the eight treasures pattern ' in the Tibetan language.'The eight treasures pattern' is the general term for the eight treasure designs originally spreading in the Tibetan Buddhism area always stated,and is very popular among the Tibetan.The pattern consists of knots,lotus,umbrella,wheel,canopy,conch,water-bottle,goldfish with the meaning of wealth and good fortune.This article focuses on the application of the eight treasures pattern in the porcelain in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Introduces and explores the characteristic of the porcelain collected by Shenyang Palace Museum.
