西安孤儿教养院是民国时期全国三大教养院之一,也是西北地区最著名的孤儿教养院。本文在收集大量资料的基础上,论述了孤儿教养院的发展历程、组织机构与管理运作、教育理念、经费来源以及孤儿生活状况。西安孤儿教养院的管理运行机制、教育理念和经费筹集方式等方面的创新,值得今天借鉴和学习。

Xi＇an orphan workhouse was one of the three workhouses during the period of the Republic of China and it was the most famous workhouses in Northwest of China. On the basis of collecting a large number of data, this paper expounds the development course, organizations and management operation, education concept, sources of funds and orphans living conditions of orphan workhouse. It is worth to learn from Xi＇an orphan workhouse in the aspect of management mechanism, educational philosophy and methods to raise funds innovative.
