高职教育为地方输送所需人才,为继续教育、职业培训平台和技术创新改造提供基地,具有鲜明的地方性。地方经济的发展影响着高职教育方向、招生与就业情况。为使高职教育与地方经济更加融合发展,高职院校要在争取地方政府支持、加强自身建设、与地方进行合作等方面进行强化。

Higher vocational education provides talents for the locality, provides continuing education and vocational training platform and base for technology innovation and transformation. The development of local economy influences the direction, enrollment and employment of higher vocational education. In order to integrate higher vocational education and local economy quickly, higher vocational colleges must strive for the support of local government, strengthening the construction of its own and cooperating with the locality.
