The development of understory forestry economy is the need of building high quality and multi benefit modern forestry, and it is the need of low-carbon development, circular economy and green growth. According to the connotation, the characteristics of understory forestry economy, eight key industries of understory forestry economy and its development countermeasures in Ganzhou City were put forward.
