摘要
在汉泰两种中型语文词典视角下,运用语料库技术的方法,采取定量与定性相结合的方法,对现代汉泰语中"象"字的义项进行了重新分析,发现"象"字漏收了"形体高大"、"力量强大"以及"象神"等3个新义项。
Aiming at find out omitted definition of the word ＂Xiang＂, this paper reviewed the senses of ＂Xhiang＂ from western perspective. Based on a dictionary of Thai and corpus technology, the study analyzed ＂Xiang＂ meaning items with quantitative and qualitative methods. The result showed that the word ＂Xiang＂ of ＂modern Thai＂ omitted three new-meaning items, namely ＂tall body＂, ＂strong power＂ and ＂elephant God＂.
