评述类标题动词使用特点浅析——以1909-1918年《教育杂志》为例

摘要 标题动词是只用于标题或多用于标题且有特定意义与用法的动词。《教育杂志》标题动词的使用特点集中体现在单双音节选择与动词语序位置两个方面。语法上,《教育杂志》标题动词与一般动词存在较大差别;语义上,标题动词只表示某种抽象的行为;语体上,大部分标题动词,尤其是双音节标题动词,带有浓厚的书面语色彩,凝练庄重。由于标题的称名性特征,导致标题动词具有后置倾向,进而使部分标题动词意义和功能虚化近乎名词。此外,早在"五四"之前,《教育杂志》标题动词随着汉语的发展,呈现出双音节化倾向。 The title verb, used only or mostly in the title, has specific meaning and usage. Usage feature of the title verb in the“Journal of Education”were mainly embodied in two aspects of single and double syllable selection and verb order. Syntactical-ly, title verbs used here were very different from the general verb Semantically, the title verb indicates only some abstract mean-ing;In terms of genre, most title verbs, especially two-syllable ones, were formal written language which were concise and sol-emn. Due to feature of nomination, title verbs were tended to be put in post-position, functioning almost as a noun. Moreover, long before the“May Fourth Movement”, with the development of the Chinese verb, the title verbs in the Journal of Education were usually two-syllable ones.
