It is a problem to contraception after cesarean section. The second pregnancy after cesarean section, either terminate or continue to, have to hear the high risk of complications. To reduce the occurrence of unexpected pregnancy cesarean section postpartum has become the focus of attention of the clinicians. This paper is mainly to expound the availability and safety on placing IUD （GyneFix PP IUD） in cesarean section. We describe the patient selection, placement methods, points for attention and the application future. Immediately placed IUD during cesarean section has reliable contraceptive effect, with low loss rate, less side reaction. We hope to provide guidance for clinicians and cesarean section women.
