The Virtual Storage Technology and Its Application in Campus Network

随着信息技术和网络技术的高速发展,高校的校园网为了降低服务器硬件投资成本、提高存储设备的利用率、简化服务器的管理维护工作、提高服务器的安全性,构建网络虚拟化存储平台成为校园网规划建设中的一个核心工作。研究了虚拟存储技术的拓扑结构、特点,探讨了虚拟存储在校园网中的应用,结果表明:虚拟存储技术在校园网中的应用极大地推动了校园信息化的建设与发展。

With the rapid development of information technology and network technology,in order to reduce the server hardware investment cost,improve the utilization rate of storage equipment, simplify the management of server maintenance work,enhance the security of the server,the construction of network virtualization storage platform will become a core in the campus network planning and construction work. This paper discusses the topology structure and characteristics of virtual storage technology,and the application of virtual storage in campus network. The results show that the virtual storage technology application in the campus network has greatly promoted the construction and development of campus informatization.
