Professor LIU Jian-qiu's experience in treating idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

特发性肺纤维化的病因与发病机制尚未完全明确,刘建秋教授认为其主要病机为本虚标实,肺肾两虚为病之本,痰、瘀为病之标,并以此提出了"益气养阴、补肺健脾益肾、化痰祛瘀通络"的治则。以益气养阴、补肺健脾益肾为本,提高肺脏功能;以化痰祛瘀为助,改善局部病灶,临证时辨证施治,疗效甚佳。文章先从探讨特发性肺纤维化的病因病机入手,详述了刘建秋教授对此病的诊疗特点,并加1则典型病案予以阐述,总结了刘建秋教授治疗特发性肺纤维化的经验。

The definite etiology and pathogenesis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis （IPF） was not clear yet. Professor LIU Jian-qiu believes that the main pathogenesis of IPF is deficiency in the constitution and excess in the symptoms, the deficiency of lung and kidney is the root, phlegm and stasis are the manifestation. Professor LIU Jian-qiu proposed a ＇supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin, tonifying lung and spleen and kidney, reducing phlegm, removing stasis and freeing lung-channel＇ method has been throughout the treatment. The aim of the first two therapeutic principle is to improve the lung function. The third is to improve local lesions. In that way, quite good effect will be gained. This article describes the etiology and pathogenesis of IPF then it details not only characteristics of professor LIU Jian-qiu in diagnosing and treating IPF but also analyze the typical case, at last, it summarizes professor LIU Jian-qiu＇s experience in treating IPF.
