Diabetic ketoacidosis （DKA） was one of the most serious complications of Diabetes. There were no specific dicussion on its names,pathogen or pathogenesis in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory,and the treat- ments of DKA were recorded in ancient medical books.. This article explored the rules of TCM treatment on DKA by discussing the names,the pathogen and pathogenesis, and summarizing clinical experiences.
