摘要
采用硅烷偶联剂3-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH-550)对蒙脱土进行硅烷化改性,并制备硅烷化蒙脱土/环氧树脂(OMMT/EP)复合材料,研究了复合材料的拉伸性能和耐热性,并用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察了复合材料的拉伸断面形貌。结果表明,经过KH-550硅烷化的蒙脱土层间距从原始的1.24 nm增加到2.02 nm;在环氧树脂基体中添加1.5%(质量分数)的硅烷化蒙脱土使复合材料拉伸强度比纯环氧树脂提高11.9%,弹性模量提高16%;硅烷化蒙脱土的加入使环氧树脂的拉伸断裂面变粗糙。此外,在环氧树脂基体中添加硅烷化蒙脱土制备的复合材料玻璃化转变温度与纯环氧树脂相比有显著提升。
The montmorillonite (MMT) was modified using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH-550) and the silylated montmorillonite/epoxy (OMMT/EP) composites were prepared. The tensile properties and thermal stability of OMMT/epoxy composites were studied and the tensile cross-section morphology of the composites was observed by scanning electronic microscope (SEM). The results showed that the interlayer spacing of montmorillonite silylated with KH-550 increased from 1.24 nm of montmorillonite material to 2. 02 nm. The tensile strength and elastic modulus increased by 11.9% and 16% respectively when silylated montmorillonite with mass ratio of 1.5% was added into the epoxy resin matrix. The tensile cross-section morphology of the composite was rougher than that of pure epoxy resin due to the addition of silylated montmorillonite. Moreover, the glass transition temperature of the composite adding silylated montmorillonite to epoxy matrix increased dramatically compared to the pure epoxy resin.
