摘要
根据关联-顺应模式,译者要推理原文交际意图找到最佳关联,并参照译文读者的认知环境变异、协商、顺应地选择译文语言。该模式对以译语读者为中心的应用型汉英旅游文本的变译具有积极指导作用。本文阐述了增译、缩译、并译和改译四种变译法对扬州旅游指南翻译的指导。增译法强化了语境效果,缩译法实现了最佳关联,并译法符合译文读者心理期待,改译法顺应译语的表达习惯。
In the light of the Relevance-adaptation Model, a translator needs to seek optimal relevance by the original communicative intention and choose language of translated texts using variation, negotiation and adaptation with refer- ence to the cognitive background of target text readers. The model serves a positive guide for the C-E translation vari- ation of the application-oriented tourism texts. This paper introduces such four methods of translation variation as am- plification, contraction, combination and alteration, and elaborates their application to the translation of Yangzhou Travel Guide.
