Analysis of the Teaching of Display Design and Its Prospect

"展示设计"课程在环境艺术设计、产品造型设计、电脑美术设计等很多专业都开设,是一个综合性很强的课程。展示设计课程目前存在学时短,学生电脑软件制作不熟练,学生对材料的认识浅薄等问题。提出以下完善方式:即课堂授课与课外授课有机结合;联系材料代理商,提供一些新材料样本投放课堂;组织学生与展示公司合作,共同完成实际项目;考核时通过让学生独立完成一个简单的设计,然后再分组完成一个大的课题,加深对本课程的认识。

The course Display Design is very comprehensive, which is offered in such specialties as Environment Art Design, Product Modeling Design and Computer-based Art Design. This paper discusses some problems existing in the teaching of Display Design, including limited studying hours, students＇ non-proficiency in making computer soft- ware and students＇ little understanding of material, etc. Meanwhile, it comes up with the corresponding measures for perfection, such as, organically combining classroom teaching and extracurricular teaching, contacting material a- gents to provide some new material samples for classrooms, organizing students to cooperate with display companies and work on the actual project together, and as an assessment, requiring students to independently complete a simple design and then grouping them for a big topic so as to deepen the understanding of this course.
