In China, the Under Insulation Corrosion （CUI） has failed to pay attention to the corrosion of the insulation layer in the petrochemical industry. So as to cause many facilities damage, and caused many accidents. In the paper, the corrosion mechanism, the choice of anticorrosion coating, the correct choice of heat preservation material and so on is discussed in the paper.
