English Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational College Based on Output-driven, Input-enabled Hypothesis

摘要 高职英语教学模式陈旧、落后,强调"输入"而忽视"输出",教学活动单一、无趣。本文提出了基于"输出驱动—输入促成假设"的教学改革策略:以"听"促"说",将听说相结合;以"读"促"写",让读写更有效;以活动促交流,让课堂更生动。 The English teaching mode in higher vocational college, which emphasizes the"input"and ig-nores the"output", is outdated and backward. There is a lack of colorful and interesting teaching activities tooin higher vocational college. This paper presents the teaching reform strategies based on the theory of"output-driven, input-enabled hypothesis". The strategies are to combine listening with speaking to promote speaking,to promote writing by reading, to design more teaching activities in order to encourage students to practice Eng-lish and make class more vivid.
