In this article, all-round introduction and exploration of the influences of heavy snow weather on flight are conducted. We start analyzing the characteristics and distribution of the heavy snow weather, combining discipline-related knowledge such as aviation meteorology, aerodynamics, flight performance, aircraft structure, to analyze the harm of heavy snow weather. The pilots＇ psychological change facing this weather condition is mainly examined. The influences of each part of aircraft after ice accumulation on the perform- ance and flight safety are analyzed. And the reasons why contaminated runway must be closed during heavy snow weather are explained. Finally, solutions are proposed to overcome the heavy snow weather during each stage of flight.
