故宫博物院与考古学

The Palace Museum and Archaeology

一座建立在昔日皇家宫殿建筑与宫廷文物旧藏基础之上的博物馆,为什么要在迎接其90华诞时建立起考古学研究机构,它对所在博物馆的学术研究和事业发展究竟有何裨益?或者说,借助故宫这座特殊博物馆提供的平台,故宫考古所对中国考古事业和学科又可能做出什么样的贡献?本文在此主要探讨三个问题:一、一般博物馆与考古学的关系;二、故宫博物院藏品的特点与考古学研究方法的运用;三、故宫博物院考古研究的方向与规划。

As for the concerns among the people about why Gugong Archaeological Research Center is set up to greet the 90 th anniversary of The Palace Museum which is based upon the imperial buildings and cultural relics collection of Qing court, how much it will benefit the academic research and undertaking development of The Palace Museum, or in other words, how much it will contribute to Chinese archaeological science by the platform provided by The Palace Museum, three issues are discussed in the paper: the relationship between the museum and archaeology, the characteristics of objects collection of The Palace Museum and application of archaeological research methods, the subject and program of archaeological research of The Palace Museum.
