施子荣先生商余耽好翰墨,所作颇丰,题材广泛,节令诗词是其间颇具特色的一部分,承寄着施子荣先生拓荒去国之故园情致和追慕古典、传播中华文化之心绪。作品"风致嫣然,具有深刻感人之力",既有对传统节令诗词的继承和发展,又有身为南洋华人的独特感受和表现方式。
Known as a Minnan businessman in the Philippines, Mr SHI Zi-rong has devoted most of his spare time to composing Chinese ancient poems.Among his numerous works which cover a wide range of topics,the Festival Poems are quite distinctive.They carry the ardently love for his hometowm and his deep admiration for classical literature as well as his strong intention of disseminating Chiese cul- ture to the world.Being regarded as ＂elegantly charming and profoundly moving＂,Mr SHI＇s works not only valuably retain and develop the traditional Chinese Festival Poems,but also feature a unique style and experience of an overseas Chinese.
