如何顺应译文的语境是涉外离婚起诉书翻译中一个亟待解决的问题。文章在语境顺应论的基础上,针对这一问题进行分析,提出译者应先对涉外离婚起诉书的语境进行比较,在明确语境差异的前提下再从语言语境与交际语境两方面顺应译文的语境。

How to make adaption to contexts of target text is an urging problem in translating cross- national divorce complaints.Based on the theory of contextual adaptation, the research probes into the problem and points out that the translator needs to find contextual difference between Chinese and English divorce complaints and take the difference in consideration before making adaptation to linguistic and communicative contexts of target text
