From Subordinate Immigration to Earning Their Own Living——Case Study of Living Conditions of Floating Uyghur Women and Their Single-parent Families

维吾尔族流动女性单亲家庭是流动家庭中的一个特殊类型。从附随迁入到独自谋生,维吾尔族单身母亲在迁入城市、子女养育、婚姻变故与家庭生计等方面具有类似经历。缺乏社会支持又面对生计压力,这一类家庭需要更多的社区服务、更切实的权益保护和社会扶助。

Uyghur floating single-parent families are a particular type in floating families. From subordinate immigration to earning their own living, Uyghur single mothers have similar experiences of moving into the city, parenting, marriage misfortune and family livelihoods. Lack of social support and faced with pressure to survive, this sort of families need more help from social communities, more effective protection of rights and interests and more social assistance.
