Epoxy chloropropane is an important organic chemical material and intermediate mainly used for synthesis of epoxy resin and polyepichlorohydrin rubber.Comparative analysis was made on the four major synthesis processes for production of epoxy chloropropane：propylene high temperature chlorination method,acetic acid acrylic ester method,glycerol chlorination method,and direction epoxidation of propylene.The production and consumption status of epoxy chloropropane at home and abroad,as well as its development prospect were analyzed.Proposals were also raised on development of the industry.
