It is the central work to improve the teaching quality and promote the talent cultivation in the newly building vocational colleges. As the main channel of talent cultivation, the quality of the classroom teaching is directly related to the survival of the higher vocational colleges and the quality of the talent cultivation. The key to promote and improve the quality of class- room teaching is including the construction of the scientific and reasonable evaluation system of the classroom teaching, the cre- ation of an assessment team with professional and non - professional teachers, the using of the flexible evaluation method , and the improvement of evaluation and feedback mechanism. Those key factors all lie in the teaching characteristics and teaching practice in higher vocational colleges.
