摘要
西方修辞学界对隐喻的研究源远流长。隐喻的意义绝非仅仅是一种修辞格,而是已经进入认知学的范畴,成为人类表述对世界看法的手段。针对二语习得者在写作中难以流利表达观点的困难,本文试图探讨在大学英语写作教学中,提高学生对于隐喻理论的认识和应用,以此来提高学生的写作水平,帮助学生准确传达文化意象。
The meaning of metaphor is far more than a figure of speech. Instead, metaphor has already entered the frame of cognitive studies, and has become a means of human beings to express their attitudes toward the world. In order to solve the difficulty in expressing ideas for second language learners, this thesis intends to research on how to improve students'ability to understand and use metaphor theories in college English writing course. As a result, students of English major can improve their writing skills, and convey cultural images correctly.
