美国梦背景下的自我价值与身份建构——索尔·贝娄和托尼·莫里森给予的完善之路

摘要 美国当代作家索尔·贝娄和托尼·莫里森完整再现了当代美国少数族裔的身份危机。从本族传统文化价值观与美国梦之间的摩擦对身份建构造成影响,再到寻找身份,最后完成少数族裔身份再塑造的过程,既要做到文化传承,保持本族文化传统,又要继续追寻美国梦。两人作品中展现了少数族裔的独特心理需求,以及自我与梦想对身份建构的影响。
