摘要
大江健三郎的小说中,多次出现了一个叫长江古义人的小老头形象。小老头形象源于英国诗人艾略特的诗歌《小老头》,在艾略特重要的作品如《荒原》和《四个四重奏》中都有涉及。大江健三郎在接受艾略特作品中小老头一事无成、没有信仰等性格特征的同时,去除了其中的宗教成分,添加了重视行动、推崇理性的性格特征,这样的接受和突破背后,一方面体现了大江健三郎不同的宗教观,一方面也体现了作家在晚年出现的写作危机。
in the novels of Kenzaburo Oe who won the nobel prize,the image of a little old man called Changjiangguyiren appears many times. The image of little old man comes from the English poet T S Eliot' s poem of Four Quartets and Waste Land. Comparing the fa- miliarity and difference of the image of little old man, this paper try to answer how and why Kenzaburo Oe inherited from T S Eliot.
