The Characteristics and Cultural Values of FU Dashi's Zen Writings

Fu Dashi in Southern dynasties was an important representative of Chinese Zen,who had numbers of writing about the Zen theory. These works were born from the combination of Buddhist scriptures and the local culture of China,which also had the characteristics of cultural heritage. Concentrated on the motif of Buddhism culture,Fu' s writing was philosophical in connotation,classical in narrative and widespread. Much of the content reflects the basic spirit of traditional Chinese culture,and some of them even connect with the core socialist values. Today,it might provide certain enlightenments and references for forming good behavior.
