作为推动中国科学事业发展和开展基础研究的重要手段,大型科学工程和设施是国家科技发展水平、尤其是基础研究发展水平的重要标志,也是一个国家综合国力的重要体现。2006年《国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲要(2006—2020年)》(以下简称《纲要》)将"大型科学工程和设施"作为科技基础平台建设领域的工作重点,本文就《纲要》实施以来大型科学工程和设施建设的任务部署、工作进展和成效,以及许多领域专家的相关政策建议进行了综合报道。

As an important means to promote China＇s scientific development and conduct basic research, key scientific engineering project and facilities is a national level of technological development, particularly an important indicator of basic research level development and an important manifestation comprehensive national power. It reported since the implementation of the National Medium and Long-term Science and Technology Development Plan Outline（2006-2020）, it focused on ＂key scientific projects and facilities＂ as a basic platform in the field of science and technology. In this paper, the construction of key scientific facilities engineering and deployment tasks, work in progress and effectiveness, as well as experts in many fields related policy recommendations were comprehensive reported.
