定格动画中的材料应用及设计——以电影《Coralline》和《Paranorman》为例

MATETIAL APPICATION AND DESIGN IN STOP-MOTION ANIMATION——TAKING "CORALLINE" AND "PARANORMAN" AS EXAMPLES

定格动画的材料多来自于现实生活中的材料,经过设计与再创造应用到影片中。黏土这种材料被越来越广泛地应用到定格动画中,但与传统的黏土相比,现在定格动画中使用的黏土多加入了其他的化学材料,使其制作更迅速且更容易成型。材料的应用在一定程度上会限制影片在角色上的设计,但随着科技的进一步发展,材料的限制性越来越小,科技与材料的完美结合赋予了定格动画新的内涵。

Motion animation material is from real life, when applied to the film it has been designed and re-created. Clay is more widely used to freeze-frame animation. Compared with the traditional clay, stop-motion animation using clay which is more joined other chemicals to make it more robust and easy to shape. Application of the material to a certain extent will limit the design of the movie on the role, but with the further development of science and technology, the perfect combination of technology and materials will give a new look of stopmotion animation.
