摘要
搞好英语新闻报道需要综合运用多种知识和技能。从事英语新闻写作教学的老师应从以下三个方面着手提高学生的写作水平:一是增加跨文化知识的讲述,避免文化冲突;二是帮助学生掌握英语新闻报道要求,摆脱汉语新闻思维模式;三是帮助学生切实提高英语水平,做到意到笔随。
The teacher engaging in the English news writing should enhance the students＇ cross-cultural knowledge to avoid cultural clash, help students get rid of Chinese mode of news writing, and improve their English on vocabulary, pragmatics and translation.
