摘要
科技英语在当今各国科技交流与合作中发挥着重要的作用。目前,科技英语教学现状不容乐观,输出驱动假设的提出为教学指明了方向。文章从教学目标、教学内容、教学组织、教学评估四个方面探讨该假设对科技英语教学的启示,并指出教学实践中面临的困难和挑战。
English for science and technology plays an important role in science and technology exchange and cooperation all over the world, but the present situation of scientific English teaching is not optimistic. The output-driven hypothesis points out the di-rection for English teaching. The paper discusses the pedagogical implications from four aspects:teaching objectives, teaching con-tents, teaching organization and teaching evaluation; illustrates the difficulties and challenges faced in teaching practice.
