Review and Reflection on the Chinese Choral Music in the 20th Century

近百年来,历经初生、探索、开拓、创新四个阶段的发展,我国合唱音乐创作取得了巨大的成就。这与一代代作曲家们的不懈努力是分不开的,我们也应该看到,世界历史发展的新潮流、学校音乐教育的普及、作曲家们的审美取向等方面对我国合唱音乐创作的发展产生了巨大的影响,当前我国合唱音乐创作发展方向依然有一些问题值得进一步思考。

From germination, through exploration and development, and to innovation, the Chinese choral music has made great achievements. This is attributed to composers＇ effort of many generations. But we should learn the fact that some aspects would affect the further development of the Chinese choral music, such as the new trend of the world development, the popularization of school music education and composers＇ aesthetic views. Hence some relevant issues are worth further study.
