农村大龄未婚男性社会支持影响因素研究

Factors on Social Support of Involuntary Bachelors in Rural China

鉴于社会支持对农村大龄未婚男性的重要性,本文利用2010年2月在全国范围做的"性别失衡与社会稳定"调查的数据,从个人、家庭和地域三个层面分析了影响农村大龄未婚男性社会支持的因素。结果表明,受教育程度、收入等社会经济地位变量、母亲健在以及表现家族势力的一些家庭因素、地域因素对农村大龄未婚男性的社会支持规模和构成均有显著影响,对实际支持网的影响更明显。

Social support is of vital importance for rural involuntary bachelors to seek for a bride. By using the data from“gender imbalance and social stability” survey conducted in February 2010 across the country, this article analyzes the factors which impact the social support of involuntary bachelors across personal, familial and regional dimensions. The results show that social and economic status, such as education, income and occupation, some familial factors reflecting family power and regional factor have salient effect on the scale and the structure of bachelors’ social support network, especially those of actual support network.
