Effect of Burr Formation with Different Backup Material Shape

摘要 基于有限元分析软件DEFORM-2D,建立了支撑材料形状对金属切削毛刺形成影响研究的有限元分析模型,研究了三角形、矩形和弧形支撑材料对毛刺形成的抑制机理。研究结果表明,对于三角形支撑材料,当顶角在30°-60°变化时,毛刺尺寸随着顶角的增大而增大。相对于矩形支撑材料和三角形支撑材料,弧形支撑材料对毛刺形成的抑制作用最为明显。 A finite element model based on DEFORM -2D was established and performed to make comprehensible the burr deformation behavior when cutting with differeut backup material shapes. As a result, for triangular backup materials which have an apex angle range form 30° to 60°, the burr size was increased with the increasing angle. In all of the backup material shapes, arc - shaped backup material was the best choice for burr minimization, which has the minimum burr size.
