Task-based teaching approach suggests that teacher should provide students with a variety of real tasks to communicate and practice. During the process, students will acquire the language naturally. With the task-based teaching approach as guidance, this article discusses the current situation of the teaching of college English listening and speaking and explores the application of Task-based teaching approach in the teaching of college English listening and speaking.
