宋代时期的家具以其独特的艺术张力与审美品味,成为中国传统家具体系的代表性造物,同时也成为物质文化与精神文化的重要载体。宋代文人士大夫阶层对家具器物所具有的独特审美特性的形成起着关键性作用,他们重视并参与对家具器物的设计与制作,使其在装饰、造型、工艺、用材等各方面都体现出宋代文人士大夫文化特有的审美情趣。

Furniture in the Song Dynasty has become a representative of Chinese traditional furniture system and an important carrier of the material and spiritual culture of that era with its unique artistic expression and aesthetic taste. The literati in the Song Dynasty played a key role in the formation of furniture＇s unique aesthetic characteristics. They emphasized and participated in the design and making of furniture, thus endowing furniture with the aesthetic taste peculiar to literati in the Song Dynasty in terms of ornament, modeling, techniques and materials.
