摘要
近年来,英语专业思辨能力的培养已经受到了学界的广泛关注。将思辨能力的培养纳入英语专业课程教学之中,培养具备思辨能力的英语人才不仅符合国家高等教育和社会发展的战略要求,同时也能满足学生终身发展需求。文章将"以问题为本的学习"(Problem-based Learning)教学模式应用于英语课堂教学之中,确定以知识技能为纲、突出思辨能力培养的教学目标,通过小组协作学习来实现教学目标,开展师评、自评、互评相结合的教学评价模式,为构建以思辨能力为导向的英语专业课堂教学模式提供可行的思路。
The cultivation of English majors’ critical thinking skills has attracted wide attention in China in recent years. It has become one of the most important objectives in the course of reforming and developing China’s foreign language education. Building a critical thinking skills oriented classroom teaching method for English majors not only conforms to the strategic development of China’s higher education,but also satisfies the lifelong needs of students. Through adopting collaborative learning mode and carrying out a comprehensive teaching evaluation mode,this paper attempts to apply the teaching method of Problem Based Learning in English teaching,with an aim to focus on fostering students’ critical thinking skills,while it also pays attention to the imparting of knowledge and skills so as to build a possible teaching method in the culti-vation of critical thinking skills for English majors.
