D.H.劳伦斯对于生命的体悟与倾心,成为他热爱生命、关注生命、探索生命的最直接的动力之一。通过分析劳伦斯作品中的生命意识,探索他对人的生命价值的感悟、对精神生命家园的理解及其道德的反叛与自然中的生命意识张扬,发现他对人生、社会、历史、政治等的深刻思考及对人类发展的担忧;对思乡之情、忆旧之念、及颓废现实的拷问,是他对真正生命价值的现实思索;对回归原生态状态的期盼,对生命力的赞扬,是他在颓废中所唱响的生命赞歌。

D. H. Lawrence＇s life experience, comprehension and cordiality had become one of the most direct dynamics of his love for life, concern for life and quest for life. By analysing the life consciousness in Lawrence＇s works and exploring his comprehension of life value, his understand- ing of spiritual homeland, moral rebellion and natural manifesto of life consciousness, this paper finds out his profound thinking about life, society, history and politics, and his concern for hu- man development. His nostalgia for home, reminiscence of the past, question for the decadent re- ality mirrored his realistic thinking about the true life value. His expectation for the return to the original ecological state and praise for vitality reflected his anthem of life in decadence.
