广义悖论探析

An Analysis of Generalized Paradox

陈波教授在《悖论研究》一书中提出了一种广义悖论观,把悖论研究从逻辑、数学、哲学范围推广到自然科学和社会科学等各个领域。笔者就广义悖论观与陈波教授商榷,主要涉及悖论的定义、悖论的分类和具体学科中的悖论。在变异逻辑的框架下认为把严格悖论定义为矛盾等价式的做法是不适当的,并尝试性地提出四种广义悖论的划分方案。

Prof. Chen Bo in his book Paradoxes proposes a generalized conception of paradox. He ex- tends the studies of paradoxes from logic, mathematics and philosophy to natural science and social science. This paper discusses with Prof. Chen Bo about the conception of generalized paradox. It argues that, it is in- appropriate to define paradox as a contradictory equivalence; and it also tries to suggest four methods to classi- fy generalized paradoxes.
