两汉是中华民族对春秋战国所创建的思想文化和价值观念的历史检验和主流文化的初步创设时期,是对国家统一之核心价值观求索与确立的时期,同时也是道德教化正式兴盛的历史时期。两汉教化理论的发展与多途径实践推动了传统核心价值观的构建,对封建大一统政治的巩固和发展起到了重要作用,对中国传统社会产生了长远深刻的影响,对当今加强道德教化的职能,促进德治与法治的有机结合以及推进中国特色社会主义核心价值观建设,都具有非常重要的意义。

The Western Han and Eastern Han Dynasties was a historical period in the period of the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States for Chinese nation to inspect the history and to initially create the main- stream culture. It was both a period of searching and constructing the core values about national unity as well as an importantly historical period of flourishing civilization. The theoretical development and multiple way of practice of civilization had promoted the construction of traditional core values in the Western Han and Eastern Han Dynasties. It played an important role in the consolidation and the development of feudally unified poli- tics, and exerted profound influence on Chinese traditional society. It is of important significance for us to strengthen the functions of morality civilization, promote the organic combination of rule of virtue with rule of law, and to enhance the construction of the socialist core values with Chinese characteristics.
