摘要
明清时期,吴江徐氏家族不仅能以德行感外和以忠义孝烈著称,而且重文轻宦,诗礼传家。这一家族文化在延继家声及彰显地域文化方面起到了非常重要的作用。
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Wujiang Xu Family influenced the community morality and was renowned for loyalty and iflial piety. Moreover, the family stressed the importance of culture and took an indifferent attitude to government positions, and it kept a legacy of literary and moral education. The family culture played a signiifcant role in maintaining family prestige and manifesting regional culture.
