Research on Development Direction of China's Future Urban Community Governance

缺乏真正自治的城市社区治理处境艰难。本文以托特尼斯镇为例,对比我国社区发展现状,指出我国城市社区需以共同的价值观、共同的参与、相同的生活方式和一致的奋斗目标为发展方向。

For lacking of real autonomy, the urban community governance encounters great difficulties.Taking Totnes Town as an exam-ple, comparison of the status quo of community development experiences, the paper indicates the future development of our urban com-munities needs the shared values, common participation, the same lifestyle and the same goal for development.
