Relation Between College Student's Self-esteem and Psychological Security

文章以探讨大学生自尊和心理安全感之间的关系为目的,以自尊量表和心理安全感量表为研究工具,对374名大学生进行研究。得出大学生自尊和安全感处于中等水平,且都存在显著的性别差异;大学生心理安全感与自尊水平呈显著正相关(R=-0.528,P<0.01);高低自尊分组在安全感上存在显著差异(F=46.589,P<0.001);自尊对心理安全感,人际信任感和确定控制感有显著的回归作用的结果,以及大学生自尊与心理安全感呈显著的正相关,自尊对心理安全感有一定的预测作用的结论。

It aims to explore the relation between college student＇ s self-esteem and psychological security. The instrument includes Self-Esteem Scale and Psychological Security Scale. The informants are 374 college students. The research result shows that, firstly, the self-esteem and a sense of security are at a medium level and both have significant gender differences ; secondly, the two factors are significantly positively correlated （ R = - 0. 528, P 〈 0.01 ） ; thirdly, among the high and low self-esteem groups there are significant differences in the sense of security（ F = 46. 589, P 〈 0. 001 ） ; fourthly, the regression of self-esteem to psychological sense of security is significant. It is concluded that self-esteem may predict, to some degree, sense of security.
