试论高职公共英语教学如何服务于专业培养目标——以泰州职业技术学院护理专业为例

Discussion on How to Make Public English Teaching in Higher Vocational College Serve the Training Objectives of Majors——Based on Nursing in Taizhou Polytechnic College

公共英语课程是高职院校的必修课程之一。近几年来许多高职院校都对公共英语课程改革做了不断的尝试。笔者所在院校在新的课程标准下,实现了模块化教学,以便能够跟学生的专业更好的衔接。本文就公共英语教学基础英语教学模块,以护理专业为例,以所用教材《新编实用英语》为蓝本,着重探索了如何在公共英语教学的课堂设计和实施中使英语教学真正服务于专业培养目标。

Public English course is one of the compulsory courses in Higher Vocational colleges. In recent years,many higher vocational colleges have tried to reform the English curriculum. In the author＇s College, under the guidance of the new curriculum standard, modular teaching has been adopted so as to make a better joint with student＇ major. In this paper, using New Practical English as teaching material and taking nursing as an example, the author will focus on exploring how to make English teaching really serve the training goals of a major in class design and implementation.
