大学英语教学中的文化意识培养研究

Research on Cultural Awareness Training in College English Teaching

大学英语是大学教学中不可缺少的一门主干课程,大学英语课程不仅仅是一门语言工具课,更是一门文化课。作为一种文化符号,大学英语在教授的过程中理所当然地要与文化学习结合起来。但是,在以往的教学过程中,大学英语教育虽然不是以升学为主导,但是也是在应试教育的指导下,是以通过英语考试为指导的,忽视了对语言中所包含的人文关怀和文化意义的发掘。随着经济全球化的不断发展,中外交流日益增强,英语成为当代大学生必备的素质之一,大学英语教学的重要性也日益凸显。因此,在大学英语教学中亟须把英语所包含的文化意义融入教学中。

College English is one of the indispensable backbone courses in university teaching ,and college English course is not only a language tool ,but also an academic classes .As a kind of culture symbol ,in the process of teaching ,college English must be combined with culture learning .However ,in the teaching process of the past ,although the college English education is not dominated by entering a higher school ,it is under the guidance of exam‐oriented education ,which ignored the language excavation contained in the humanities and cultural significance .With the continuous development of the globalization and for‐eign exchange growing ,English becomes one of the essential qualities of contemporary university students ,and college English teaching is increasingly highlighted .In college English teaching ,therefore ,the culture significance contained in English is badly in need of putting into college English teaching .
