摘要
根据语言的功能构建了大学英语教育期望层级模型,分析了由低到高四层教育期望——语言期望、知识期望、思辨期望和情感期望,并探讨了大学英语教育期望的实施路径,力图把语言学习与知识增长、思维训练及情感发展融为一体,实现英语作为交流工具、文化载体、思维外壳和情感媒介的功能。
In accordance with the functions of language , the hierarchy of expecations, namely expectation for academic success, for critical thinking, for emotional tributes, and for ethical stance are introduced. The actualizing paths are explored in an effort to integrate languate learning with intellectual and spiritual development, so as to fulfill the functions of language as the tool of communication, carrier of culture, shell of thinking, and media of emotion.
