摘要
颜茂猷是17世纪"后阳明"时代的一位劝善思想家。他的善书著作《迪吉录》及《云起集》充分体现出其思想具有这样一些基本特质:非常热衷于探讨如何将道德行为纳入果报系统当中,为行善思想寻找外在的客观依据等问题;在思想上有折衷朱子阳明的倾向,但对晚明盛行一时的心学末流非常不满,以为凭借人心的力量已然不能解决"转祸为福"的根本问题;对如何重整社会秩序、扭转世俗人心表现出极大的关怀与忧虑;而其思想在立场上表现为儒家,其思想之宗旨在于劝善,其信仰则表现为三教糅合的形态,他的最终思想指向则在于培养"善人",以最终实现"善与人同"的理想社会。
Yan Maoyou was a moralist in the post- Wang- Yangming period in the 17 th century. Two of his moral books,Dijilu and Yunqiji contain the following essential traits: he is eager at incorporating moral conducts into the system of karma so as to provide an objective basis for moral activities; he has the intention of integrating Wang Yangming's and Zhu Xi's thoughts,but he is much dissatisfied with the declining school of the philosophy of mind,and he thinks that in virtue of mind alone we couldn't solve the fundamental problem of 'converting misgiving into fortune'; he is concerned with the re- ordering of the society and the reconstruction of the moral faith of the people. Although he is a Confucian and aims at encouraging moral conducts,he also believes the fusion of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism. His ultimate aim is to cultivate'good person'so that an ideal society of'learning merits from one another'can be created.
