孔子的伦理思想是其思想核心,他注重人的个体修养,注重家庭父子之间的和睦。孔子讲《诗》可以兴、观、群、怨,可以多识鸟兽草木之名,所以可以用来"事父",是因为诗本身宣扬了很多美德,也讽刺了一些不好的现象以对人进行规劝,对培养"事父"的人格上有重要作用;同时《诗》本身又可以用来歌唱、演奏,可以在实际生活中侍奉长辈;又《诗》所涉及到的礼俗、动植物很多都是与生活息息相关的,亦可以用来侍奉长上。所以,它可以用来"事父"。

Ethics is Confucius＇ s core idea, and he pays attention to the individual self-cultivation and the family harmony between father and son. Confucius thinks ＂poem＂ can flourish, view, organize, blame, can know more names of birds ,animals and plants, so can be used to ＂Serve the father＂. It is because the poem not only preached many virtues, but also satirized some bad phenomenon for people. It plays an important role in the matter of forstering the personality of ＂Serving the father＂ . At the same time, itself can be used to sing, play to serve the elders in real life. Besides, ＂Poems＂ relates to the customs, animals and plants, many of which are closely related to real life, so it can be used to serve the elders either. Therefore, it can be used to ＂serve the father＂ .
