Taking Taiyuan Xishan tourist highway service area as an example,this paper researched its site location scheme,discussed the vari-ous factors of location need to consider,including compatibility between urban and rural planning,infrastructure,resources and environment, city safety and other aspects,to promote the development of whole Xishan scenic spot.
